WEB/SITE Platform Instagram Takeover: Maud Haya-Bavierafilm • 03 Aug 2020 – 09 Aug 2020
How to keep busy during lockdown? How not to flounder and dream of sunny shores?
Maud Haya-Baviera’s new video work, Wish you were here, instils a tantalising dose of escapism at a time when holidaying and long-distance travel remain compromised. She also exposes the conventional tourist gaze and uses Instagram to subvert the limitation of space and time portrayed in the postcards.
She will tease us by revealing one video excerpt a day. Stay tuned!
