Audio Descriptions
An introduction to the work from Candice Nembhard.
Accessing Site Gallery.
Exhibition Access Information
Collateral Echoes is in Site Gallery’s main exhibition space, and the VR Cinema is in Studio I, both on the ground floor. There are accessible, gender-neutral toilets and baby changing facilities on the same floor.
The Collateral Echoes exhibition and VR Cinema are fully accessible for wheelchair users. We provide walking stick stools and chairs within the exhibition. An audio description is available at reception.
Sensory
The exhibition could be an intense experience with loud noises, overlapping content and (at set times) features live performances with musicians and dancers.
We expect that the gallery will be very busy throughout the festival. If you would prefer to visit at a quieter time, the exhibition continues through 13 July.
Relaxed Visiting Hour
We run a Relaxed Viewing Hour between 11am – 12pm every Thursday. These hours provide brighter natural lighting and quieter sound. Please note: There will not be a Relaxed Visiting Hour during the festival.
Masked Visiting Hour
We also run a Masked Visiting Hour between 11am – 12pm every Tuesday. These provide a safer experience for immunocompromised visitors, and we ask visitors to wear a face covering while in the exhibition during this time.
General Access Information
The route inside the exhibition is lit by low-level lighting and has backed chairs for seating. Portable stools are also available at the gallery entrance.
Ear defenders and coloured overlays are available by the gallery door.
