“Very atmospheric. You’ve captured a lovely sense of absent commerce – the lights are on but no-one is there. A sense of ‘waiting’ to come alive when people return. The photos look beautiful with the reflections of the lights”.
FrenchMottershead commenting on the work of 2nd place winner, Colt Swift
Participants: Open to visiting students from Aston Comprehension & Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham Colleges
This Photography Competition is part of: Shopping Landscapes – a series of creative projects explored and produced by young people around the themes of shops and shopping. The work responds to the FrenchMottershead Shops residency and subsequent exhibition at Site Gallery [Nov ‘09 to Feb ‘10].
