Papers, Fictions, Scripts and Circles

Each Saturday throughout print it, COPY artists Joanna Loveday and Charlotte A Morgan invite you to attend a series of conversations in the gallery with regional and nationally based artists, writers and curators. .

Join us for complementary brunch from at 11am to 1pm.

Events are free but places are limited, so booking is highly recommended.

Saturday 11 August,  Papers
Papers draws upon the history and significance of self-publishing, its implications today and the use of publication as medium or curated space. With Simon Cutts and Erica Van Horn (Coracle), Lynn Harris (AND Publishing, David Osbaldeston and RGAP.

Saturday 18 August, Fictions
Fictions explores the use of written fiction and narrative in art and performance practices and their relation to experimental literature. With Jamie Crewe, Jennifer Hodgson, Tamarin Norwood and Alun Rowlands.

Saturday 25 August, Scripts
Scripts focuses on printed or written works which act in relation to live elements or as diagrams or scores.  With David Berridge, Rachel Lois Clapham and Patrick Coyle.

Saturday 1 September, Circles
Circles discusses the significance of spaces for sharing, storing, reading and activating printed work and the shifting roles of libraries, fairs, project spaces and institutions in artists publishing activity and networks.  With Emma Cocker, Kit Hammonds, Simon Lewandowski and Francis McKee.
