We are deeply concerned about the implications of the recent Supreme Court ruling, which has provoked a significant reaction across the UK. In response we have joined others in signing an open letter calling on the Equality and Human Rights Commission to engage directly with Trans, Non-binary, and Intersex people, as well as those running public and cultural spaces, to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected and included. Site Gallery supports the LGBTQIA+ artistic community through employment, commissioning and collaboration and we are committed to creating a space where Trans+ people feel safe. We have gender neutral toilets across all areas of our venue, and our staff will always challenge any discriminatory language or behaviour.
