A chance for young creative minds to fill the gallery with drawings! Drawing for Play is a special day devised for children under 5.
Artists Simon & Tom Bloor will be on hand with members of the Site Gallery team to encourage children and families to experiment with a wide range of materials and paper (all materials provided).
Simon & Tom are interested in children’s playspaces and the legacy of the postwar urban landscape. During their Platform residency, Planning for Play, they plan to open up the gallery as a space for making, playing and engaging, and this event includes even the youngest visitors in the creative process.
Stay for the whole session or drop in at any point. Site Gallery café is open from 9:30am – 3.30pm so you can enjoy lunch, coffee and cake in the afternoon.
We are relatively restricted on space, so please fold away pushchairs when you visit. Our gallery team are happy to help if you need any assistance.
