Site Gallery is currently closed for expansion and will reopen in 2018.
The gallery is based in Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter very near to the main train and bus stations.
From the M1, Junction 33, follow the Sheffield Parkway to Park square roundabout (signed city centre). Follow signs for A61S (Chesterfield/Inner Ring Road). Take the fourth exit (past Ponds Forge sports centre and Bus Interchange on right). Continue past the train station on your left. To avoid a lengthy one way road system, take the first left and follow the road round to the train station multi storey car park. To get to the gallery come out of the car park onto Turner Street. Cross Suffolk Road and Shoreham Street junction, you will see Red Tape Studios in front of you. Then either go left up the ramp/steps of Grinders Hill or turn right and follow the road in the direction of the train station, around the front of the Showroom Cinema and onto Paternoster Row/ Brown Street. Site Gallery is at the top of Grinders Hill on the left, next door to the Workstation.
From the A57, carry straight on as Manchester Road becomes Whitham Road and Western Bank to a roundabout. Turn right (4th exit) onto the ring road (Hanover Way). Go straight on at the next roundabout, left at the second and right at the third onto Furnival Gate. Turn right at the roundabout onto Furnival Street and follow the road around to the right, where you will come across the Sidney Street car park. Alternatively, on Furnival Street take the fourth turning by the Rutland Arms pub into Brown Street. There is limited meter parking here on the street. There is also designated parking on Arundel Lane for orange badge holders (approx 100m from the gallery entrance).
By Train & Bus
On exiting the train station follow the steel water sculpture up the slope towards Sheaf Square. Cross the road at the traffic lights, going across the pedestrian walkway in front of the Showroom Cinema and turn left onto Paternoster Row. Continue along Paternoster Row until it becomes Brown Street. Site Gallery is on your left, just after the Workstation.
