Volunteering for Site Gallery at the Folk Forest, Tramlines
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support us during Tramlines weekend (22 & 23 July, 2017)
We will be launching our On The Road art van at the Folk Forest in Endcliffe Park, where attendees of all ages will be invited to take part in hands on creative workshops with artists from Sheffield. Volunteer tasks will range from assisting with the set up and decoration of the workshop area, assisting artists with workshops, talking to members of the public and giving them information about Site Gallery and the On The Road art van, running errands and supervising young people (never alone).
We will ask you for your availability over the Tramlines weekend, during the following hours:
Saturday 22 July, 10.30am – 7.30pm
Sunday 23 July, 10.30am – 7.30pm
There are various shifts available during these times, each 4.5 hours long. You will gain free entry to the ticketed area of the Folk Forest and get the chance to participate in a festival that includes 2 music stages, heritage craft activities, artisan markets and family activities. Food vouchers are also provided for volunteers.
If you are interested in getting involved, email Kirsty Young on email@example.com or call 0114 281 2077
The organisers of the Folk Forest at Tramlines are also looking for volunteers to assist with a range of tasks over the weekend – Friday to Saturday. To find out more about what they are looking for, visit their website here.
