Internship Opportunities
Site Gallery offers internship positions throughout the year for individuals wishing to gain experience in a contemporary art gallery environment.
You will receive one to one training in many areas from arts administration, front of house responsibilities and gain invaluable insight into the running of a contemporary art gallery. You may also gain experience in fields of technical setup, installation, design, marketing and communication.
You will become a key member of a highly motivated team. We will work hard to ensure your internship helps you build the essential skills, experience and confidence to enhance your future career prospects and to help you clarify the field of work you would like to pursue.
Internship positions are usually for one day a week (Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 5.30pm). Internship positions are reviewed every 3 months to ensure that you are developing essential skills and experience to enhance your career potential. The positions are voluntary, travel and lunch expenses are covered as part of the internship (up to £5). Applicants will preferably be based in the Sheffield area.
