Do you want to gain experience working in a contemporary art gallery in Sheffield?
As a volunteer at Site Gallery, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge of the inner workings of a contemporary art gallery, in a vibrant and fun setting. You will be welcoming visitors, invigilating the exhibitions, assisting in the shop and supporting reception duties.
For those keen to broaden their experience there will be opportunities to help our curatorial team research future exhibitions and events, event delivery, technical set up and supporting the marketing department.
We typically ask for volunteers to commit a dedicated number of hours each week, between Tuesday and Sunday.
You do not need specialist knowledge of visual art to volunteer with us. We are looking for people who want to inspire others’ interests in art and those who enjoy conversations with the public. We encourage people from a diversity of backgrounds to apply. Full training is provided.
