Join us on 20 April at Site and experience a programme of film works taken from In the Same Breath, an exhibition of work by 20 artists in the third cohort of the Freelands Artist Programme*. In the Same Breath is currently presented at Freelands Foundation in London, 23 March – 29 May.
The programme includes six short films; Matt Zurowski’s Eadar (2023), Myrid Carten’s Sorrow had a baby (2023), Aled Simons’ Legend Extension II (2023), Tom Cardew’s Machynys Forgets Itself (2023), Robin Price’s I thought you wanted what I was giving you (2023) and Lea Torp Nielsen’s Hydra/Brook (Becoming Water), (2023). Lea Torp Nielsen is a Sheffield-based artist who exhibited as part of last year’s Platform 21 show at Yorkshire Artspace Persistence Works.

*The Freelands Artist Programme supports emerging artists across the UK in partnership with g39, Cardiff, PS2, Belfast and Talbot Rice Gallery, Edinburgh. Each artist receives a two-year paid residency which includes investment in professional development, production as well as opportunities to exhibit.
