In response to Daniel von Sturmer’s solo show: Set Pieces, students from St. Bernard’s School, Rotherham, explored viewer expectation and perception through syncing mismatched sound and video. The students worked in pairs using Garage Band and Imovie to create short films with their own collected sound and video footage. They were encouraged to explore sounds in their school environment including the use of musical instruments.
