Reception with Audacious Art Experiment

11am – 6pm // Party 7pm – late
The Audacious Art Experiment return to Site Gallery after the enormous success of their event during last years DIY Summer which combined live music, film and screen printing.
Reception will form a day-to-night festival in the gallery; a haphazard catalyst for visual and audio experiment, growing in energy and volume over the day to become an immersive experience of sound, light, image and idea.
Build your own instrument during the day, as Site becomes a space of experimental bleeps, crackles and creative conduct.  In collaboration with Grimsby-based Circuit Benders, we invite you to build musical devices from recycled toys and sound generators, breaking components and twisting the ordinary to build up to an unpredictable soundscape.
Circuit Bending is free, just turn up on the day (not suitable for young children)
Evening event:
Join us from 7pm for evening of live music, film projections, radio broadcast, impromptu experimental sounds and performance. The party will open with a Circuit Bending musical performance by Audacious Art Experiment artists and participants.
Entry £5.00 in advance
Bar until 11pm
The Audacious Art Experiment are a dexterous collective of musicians, artists and writers, they are also a record label and community space, driven by adventurous artistic expression and a strong community mindset.
