International Residenciy Programme

Working with Visiting Arts, Site is host to a series of residencies, offering a three-month Fellowship, based in Sheffield for an outstanding young international artist, working primarily with lens-based/digital media work. The residency aims to develop their artistic practice by creating new work, interacting with local artists and audiences and extending professional contacts. The artists are expected to give a lecture/workshop at Site Gallery or an idea/sharing session. Throughout the Fellowship period the artist will be encouraged to build contacts across the region with artists, arts professionals and academics and a number of networking events will facilitate this.
