POSTPONED: unfortunately this event has been postponed. We will be contacting all participants to re-schedule a new date. Thank you.

The next in our regular series of reading groups considers French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy’s Listening, a lyrical meditation on sound in relation to the human body. How is listening different from hearing? What does listening entail? How does what is heard differ from what is seen?

Join us to discuss some of the questions raised by Nancy’s text alongside our Listening exhibition, which examines the crossover between the visual and the sonic and their complex relationships to the senses.

Extracts of the text will be emailed upon booking.
