Live Art Festival - Site supports the rapidly growing and dynamic field of live art with a biannual festival. Exploring the convergence of performance and media arts, this event draws international audiences. Immediate - Site encourages artists at the beginning of their careers though Immediate, a biannual exhibition of work by regional MA graduates. This exhibition includes commissioning opportunities through which artists use gallery facilities to produce new work.
Off-Site projects - Site realises ambitious off-site projects like Shunted, where new, commissioned work by Mark Wallinger, Brighid Lowe, Andrew Stones and Frances Hegarty, and Impossible Theatre were sited at Sheffield station. Site also played a key role in ART SHEFFIELD 03, co-ordinating major off-site installations by Smith/Stewart and Georgina Starr.
