COPY in residence
For emerging artists today, printed matter and the book remain a compelling creative space for production. For print it,  the artists’ publishing platform COPY will undertake a residency at Site Gallery in dialogue with the Coracle Press archive, carrying out research, producing new work on site, and presenting programme of public discussions and contextual activity.
Joanna Loveday and Charlotte A Morgan will both produce new work in the gallery and remotely; Joanna’s work focuses on exploring points of tension between text, diagram and performance or durational act, while Charlotte’s work performs insertions into the space, exploring spatial or unbound potentials in reading and publishing. A shared COPY notebook will be updated throughout the residency.
