Create your own DIY noise rave! This workshop led by Access Space explores the historic stepped tone generator first designed by Forrest M. Mims in 1980. The Atari Punk Console generates characteristic square-wave noises and retro tones that will be familiar to anyone who grew up with early games consoles.

Participants will build their own unique 555-based electronic instruments, experiment with analog control interfaces, perform together, and take home their very own Atari Punk Console. You will become familiar with basic electronics tools, soldering irons and multimeters. No experience is necessary.

£45 per person, booking essential (limited places)

Suitable for over 16s. Light refreshments included. Bring your own packed lunch, or Access Space will provide it for £4.50. Please advise of any special dietary needs.
