City of Ideas: Urban Realm Commission #1 – The Busan Exchange
This March we welcome three international artists to Sheffield to launch the second stage of our Busan/Sheffield cultural exchange project. The first stage saw us take two artists from Sheffield (Paul Morrison and Ben Tew) to make new work in Busan.

How should the art world respond to Artificial Intelligence? Does it make sense to describe the output of a computer algorithm as ‘creative’? Join us on 23 Nov for a lively discussion around these themes.

This October, we swap Sheffield for South Korea, as we launch new art works commissioned from two artists from Sheffield.

For one weekend in July 2017 you will find Site Gallery by the water at Victoria Quays (formerly Sheffield Canal Basin). While we continue with building works to expand the gallery on Brown Street, we are bringing our events to you.

Trade Routes Walk and Welcome Celebration
Join us for the maiden voyage of the Manor Maker Trade Routes canoe, followed by a celebration of its arrival at the gallery with festive refreshments.

Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2011
S1 Artspace and Site Gallery are delighted to announce they will be presenting Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2011. Opening on 23 September, and featuring the work of 40 artists across a range of mediums, this exhibition provides a unique opportunity to engage with new practice, ideas and forms.
