Join us at the Folk Forest for the official launch of Site Gallery’s Art Van. To mark this event, the Society of Explorers have designed a programme of hands-on creative activities motivated by their interest in collectives.

Creative practice can be a powerful tool for change, but how do artists relate to economies and money, and is digital improving the picture? Andy Warhol stated that ‘good business is the best art’. Do we agree and embrace this idea? In this turbulent global moment, it’s time for a fresh and constructive look at art’s role in economies.

Who has the claim to what’s true, in these rational times? To what extent are art, science and belief “branches of the same tree” as Albert Einstein once said, and what happens when some of those branches begin to crack?
