A time and a place
Artist-led Participation Residencies
7 February - 18 February 2012

Site Gallery is developing an artist-led participation programme. A time and a place is a project to develop a team of artists who are interested in working with people. The best work in this field comes when artists work with communities of interest in a way that both builds their own practice and is also creatively engaged and collaborative with the people who are participating. A time and a place includes mentorship and professional development for artists would like to develop their work in this field, as well as the opportunity to test out running a workshop, event or small scale project at Site Gallery.

Between 7 – 18 February, ten Sheffield-based artists will take over our galleries, designing and delivering a creative programme for our visitors to get involved with. The activity is being developed over the period, and we invite anybody to come down and get involved. Activity is free and suitable for all ages.

Check out our live blog for up-to-date information on all our events

We look forward to seeing you.
